Saint Paul Building Policy


The City of Saint Paul and the Saint Paul Housing and Redevelopment Authority adopted sustainable development policies for public and privately developed buildings receiving more than $200,000 in public financing. The result was the adoption of the Saint Paul Sustainable Building policy in 2009 for a July 1, 2010 effective date. The policy outlines multiple potential pathways for compliance, allowing project teams to select one of several available sustainable building guidelines or rating systems.
